Hi all, I’m BJ, originally from Missouri, I’m now living in Nebraska. I’ve always enjoyed the outdoors; I love camping, kayaking, and canoeing. It is the reason I went to work as a park ranger, on a river. However, I decided to break out the hiking boots for longer than a day or two and dive into the world of backpacking.

If you want to hear more about how this blog got started check out my first post! While I’m sure on occasion I will ramble on about kicking back by a campfire or a sweet kayaking trip I’ve done; I will try to stick with my adventures in backpacking.

I’m also writing about my adventures of life with a baby– hiking, camping, or canoeing with said child. It’s a whole new world!
